AGM Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital is located at Bagalkot District in Karnataka. The College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and approved by Government of Karnataka.
BAMS graduates can pursue various career paths, including Private practice as an Ayurvedic doctor, Employment in government hospitals, dispensaries, or research institutions, Teaching positions in Ayurvedic colleges, Opportunities in Ayurvedic pharmaceutical companies. After completing BAMS, students can also opt for postgraduate studies (MD/MS) in Ayurveda to specialize in a specific field such as Kayachikitsa (internal medicine), Shalya Tantra (surgery), Shalakya Tantra (ENT and Ophthalmology), etc. After completing the academic program, students are required to undergo a one-year internship in Ayurvedic hospitals or clinics. During this period, they gain practical experience in treating patients under the supervision of experienced Ayurvedic practitioners.
