A.K.G Co-operative Institute of Health Science was established in 2017 with a motto “Exploring new horizons in health care”. The College is located at Kadachira in Kannur district. The College offers Bachelor of Physiotherapy Programme with an intake of 50 seats. The duration of course is 4 year and 6 month compulsory rotating internship. The College applys a broad range of physical therapies and techniques such as movement, ultrasound, heating, laser and other techniques. The College always tries to implement programmes for scrutinizing and prevention of common physical ailments and disorders. The college provides various facilities such as auditorium facility for events and seminar, Spacious library facility, departmental based laboratory, excellent IT Infrastructure and canteen facility for staff and students. The college has a health center with first aid facility for the students. Besides, College has separate hostels for boys and girls.We have formed this Institution with the sole intention of excelling our students in the health care service and serving the mankind in a noble way.AKG CIHS comprises 7 diploma Courses under the Paramedical sector now . It ihas been approved by the Directorate of Medical Education.Development of students with a sense of discipline, responsibility and integrity is aimed by the College. Highly qualified and experienced faculty is an asset of the institution.
