A.M. Shaikh Homoeopathic Medical College was established in 1967 by People’s Education Society & Trust. The College has 46 bedded hospital which is now extented to 65 beds having specialty OPDs in Dermatology, Respiratory, Medicine, Inferrtility and Palliative Diseases along with five peripheral OPDs functioning regularly fulfilling all the requirments of National Commission for Homoeopathy.
The College is approved by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, the Government of Karnataka, the National Council for Homoeopathy , New Delhi and the Ministry of AYUSH, India. The College has adequate spaces for theoretical lectures, equipped with audio-visual aids for effective teaching. The College provides Homeopathic pharmacy, pathology, and anatomy laboratories for practical training. A well-stocked library with books, journals, and research materials related to homeopathy and medical sciences. The College provides separate hostel facilities for the students. The College caters not only for an education that acquaints the students with the various intellectual strategies but also develops moral and spiritual values in them. The College has emphasized imparting quality education, cutting across professional and general institutions, and creating new standards in research and allied activities.
