 A.V.M. College of Physiotherapy Kadapa was established in the year 2004. The College is affiliated with Dr. N.T.R University of Health Sciences and approved by the Indian Association of physiotherapists.  The college has successfully seen through Six batches of graduates since its inception. A.V.M. College of Physiotherapy is attached to RIMS Government Medical Hospital and Sweekar Rehabilitation Center for the clinical training of its students. The 4 and half year of study includes theory, practical & clinical components giving students a firm knowledge of body, injury & healing processes and various physical therapy treatment methods. 6 months internship at the end of the course provides better practical knowledge.  For BPT admission, candidates who have passed intermediate/ 10+2/ NOS / PDC/ HSSC with Biology, Physics & Chemistry as optional subjects. A.V.M. College of Physiotherapy has good number of highly qualified and experienced staff to provide theory and practical training to the students in all subjects. All the classrooms are equipped with the latest technology, a fully-stocked nursing arts laboratory, a modern chemistry laboratory, a learning resource center, faculty rooms, quiet study areas, a student lounge, and a conference room. The laboratories are the hub center of science teaching and experiential learning. The Library, has a wealth of books, periodicals and journals to its credit. All the laboratories are constructed with compatibility and adequate space to accommodate students during their practical hours.
