All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Mumbai is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education. The college has 4 year BPT course with 6 months compulsory internship.
The Physiotherapy and rehabilitation group in the institute consist of Physiatrists (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialists) supported by orthopaedician, physician, paediatrician, anesthesiologist, radiologist and a pathologist, rehabilitation nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, Orthotists and prosthetists, speech therapists, psychologists, medical social workers. The college has experienced faculties for conducting the classes. Well furnished classrooms with comfortable seating gives pleasant atmosphere for studies. The college uses modernized and latest equipments and technologies in all laboratories for providing quality Physiotherapy education.
