BLDE Association's SSM College of Pharmacy and Research Centre was established in the year 1982 and since then it has earned great respect and reputation across the state of Karnataka for imparting quality pharmaceutical education. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, and recognized and approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, and All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi.
The laboratories of all the departments have modern facilities for practical training. Modernized technologies and advanced equipments are used in each laboratories. It is highly essential for the quality education. BLDEA's Shri Sanganabasava Mahaswamiji College of Pharmacy & Research Centre has excellent infrastructure consisting of classrooms with modern information and communication technology facilities and laboratories comprising state-of-the-art equipment. Library is well stocked with books, titles and journals as well as electronic resources such as ProQuest, Science Direct, Wiley online and HELINET consortium for use of students and faculty. Library is having institutional membership in Development Library Network (DELNET). Library has also provided reprographic facility to all the users.
