Established in 1998, BVVS Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital is one of the most esteemed institutions in Karnataka.BVVS Ayurved Medical College offers BAMS (UG) – 100 intake every year and 5 PG Seats MD / MS (Ayu) (Post Graduatuion) in 4 different subjects like Dravyaguna, Rasashasatra Evum Bhaishajya Kalpana, Kayachikitsa and Shalya Tantra.
The college has its own 185 bedded hospital with outpatient departments (O.P.D) and inpatient departments (I.P.D), Panchakarma unit, Operation Theater, Pathya unit, Investigation block and Pharmacy etc. The College has well established spacious library with a seating capacity of 200 students, having more than 12000 books including many rare ancient literature. Ayurveda colleges typically provide comprehensive facilities to support the holistic education and practical training of students. These facilities include well-equipped classrooms for theoretical instruction, laboratories for practical demonstrations and experiments, and extensive libraries with a wide range of Ayurvedic literature.
