The College was established in the year 1996. The college has well equipped 14 departments, extensive library and requisite Laboratories. All the departments have highly qualified and experienced staff to enrich the knowledge of students in undergraduate courses. college is approved by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), Government of India and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
The lecture halls are well ventilated with all necessary fittings and furniture as per CCIM norms for conducting lectures without any disturbance. The College possesses well equipped laboratory with modern equipments as per CCIM norms and helpful to conduct experiments as required for pursuing thee course. The institution also has an Audio visual room for the use of Inter Departmental seminars, Guest lectures etc. The college is provided with a computer and projectors. The library has built-up area of 1500 sq.ft. BAMC has a rich source of knowledge in well organised form of books, journals, magazines, manuals, thesis and periodicals. The college has a collection of 6,500 books and 25 variety of Journals. Volumes on Ayurveda and Western school of Medicine are available. Separate hostel facilities are available for boys and girls in college campus.
