Cauvery Institute of Health sciences was started in the year 2010 with three branches B.Sc in Medical Imaging Technology, Operation Theatre Technology & Medical Laboratory Technology. Subsequently over the next 9 years, additional branches were added to the institute i.e., B.Sc in Perfusion Technology, Cardiac Care Technology, Respiratory Care Technology, Renal Dialysis Technology, Anaesthesia Technology, Optometry, Neurosciences, Emergency Medicine, Audiology & Speech Language Pathology & M.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology, M.Sc in Echocardiography and others. Very few institutions under RGUHS having almost all the courses in Allied Health Sciences and Cauvery Institute of Health Sciences is one amongst them.
