The college is currently located in Kalleppully, just seven kilometers from Palakkad Junction Railway Station, making it easily accessible from major transportation hubs. The institution’s strategic location allows students from different regions to commute conveniently. To accommodate the growing number of students and enhance infrastructure, plans for a new building at Chemmencadu, near the Public Health Centre of Marutha Road Grama Panchayath, were initiated. This new campus expansion symbolizes IHRD’s commitment to improving educational facilities, creating a more conducive learning environment for students.
The construction of the new college building is an important milestone for the institution. The ground floor was inaugurated on 3rd June 2019 by Mr. V. S. Achuthanandan, the former Chief Minister of Kerala. This event marked a significant step towards expanding academic infrastructure and modernizing facilities for students and faculty members. Further construction is still in progress, aiming to provide state-of-the-art laboratories, digital classrooms, library resources, and student amenities. This expansion reflects the college’s dedication to academic excellence, research, and student development, ensuring that the institution remains a premier center for applied sciences and commerce education in Kerala.
