College of Occupational Therapy, National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities was established in the year 2017 at Chennai District in Tamil Nadu.The BOT or Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, is a four-year undergraduate degree program that trains students to become occupational therapists. Occupational therapists work with individuals who have physical, mental, developmental, or emotional challenges to help them participate in meaningful daily activities.
The Classrooms are equipped with anatomy models, therapy equipment, and technology for lectures and practical sessions. Occupational Therapy Labs are the Specialized labs for hands-on training with therapeutic equipment. The Library is Stocked with relevant textbooks, research journals, and resources. The Clinical Training Facilities is in Collaboration with hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers for practical training.
Computer Facilities is used to access to databases, software, and resources for research and learning. The college has in Collaboration with rehabilitation centers for real-world experience. The Students get proper Counseling, mentorship, and support services for students. The College has Simulation rooms facilities for simulated patient interactions.
