College of Occupational Therapy, J.K.K. Munirajah Medical Research Foundation was established in the year 2000 at Namakkal District in Tamil Nadu. The BOT or Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, is a four-year undergraduate degree program that trains students to become occupational therapists. Occupational therapists work with individuals who have physical, mental, developmental, or emotional challenges to help them participate in meaningful daily activities.
The Classrooms are equipped with anatomy models, therapy equipment, and technology for lectures and practical sessions. The College provides Occupational Therapy Lab for hands-on training with therapeutic equipment. The Library is Stocked with relevant textbooks, research journals, and resources. The College is in Collaboration with hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers for practical training. The Computer lab has access to databases, software, and resources for research and learning. Also the College is in Collaboration with rehabilitation centers for real-world experience. BOT graduates are in demand globally as the need for occupational therapy services continues to grow.
