DR Ambedkar Medical College & Hospital (BRAMC), Bangalore, was established in the year 1981 by Ananda Social and Educational Trust. The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The College is run by Anandaa Social and Educational trust in Bangalore. The College is located at Kadugondanalli in Bangalore district and it is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.This Educational Trust has a rich experience in the Medical education field, College and School of Nursing, College of Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Technology and Radiography, and Dental College. Bachelor of Physiotherapy course is 4 year programme with 6 months internship with an annual intake of 30 seats.

The college has a 25 acre campus at Kadugondanahalli, Bangalore. The College has a 600 bed hospital inside the campus. Clinical training and practices given in the parent hospital that enable the students to acquire deep knowledge in various disciplines. This medical college in offers different undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses. The courses are approved by Medical Council of India.
