The Excel College of Pharmacy was established in the year 2017 under the auspices of SRET – Sri Rengaswamy Educational Trust . The College is recognized by Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) ,New Delhi. The mission of the College is to create academic excellence at the institute by providing education in pharmaceutical sciences through high-quality infrastructure and technology and to prepare pharmacy students to meet the needs of industrial research as well as social needs by using student-centered teaching and learning processes.
Pharmaceutical Chemistry Laboratory, Pharmacology Laboratory, Pharmaceutics Laboratory, Pharmacognosy Laboratory, Machine Room are the laboratories of this institution. The experimental chemistry correlates with theoretical knowledge helpful for the student for synthesizing chemical moieties which may have therapeutic properties in physiological system. The college has well-maintained library with sufficient books, Internet facilities, National and International Journals on recent trends in Pharmaceutical Sciences. A Well maintained Medicinal garden is also available which is very useful not only to the students, and also for the environment.
