GRT Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (GRTIPER) is established in 2019. Promoted by GRT Mahalakshmi educational charitable trust under the leadership of visionary extraordinaire philanthropist Shri. G. Rajendran. GRTIPER is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and The Tamil Nadu government. It is proposed to offer Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), 2 years course with affiliation to Director of Medical Education, Chennai and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), 4 years course with affiliation to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.
The College has adequate spaces for theoretical lectures, equipped with audio-visual aids for effective teaching. The College has Pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and pharmaceutical analysis laboratories for practical training. A well-stocked library with books, journals, and research materials related to pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. Access to computer labs with relevant software for pharmaceutical research and analysis. The College has facilities for simulating pharmacy practice scenarios, including counseling and patient interaction. Also Laboratories and facilities for research in pharmaceutical sciences. Hostel facilities are available for the students
