The college is located at Ragolu In Srikakulam district. Great Eastern Medical School & Hospital is located in the Temple town of Srikakulam, famous for the Surya Bhagvan Temple and soothing climate. GEMS college is recognized by the National Medical Commission formerly known as Medical Council of India and was affiliated to the DR. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. The college is approved by The Indian Association Of Physiotherapists. The college has 4 year bachelor of Physiotherapy course with 6 months mandatory internship. BPT has an annual intake of 50 seats in GEMS college.
The college has well furnished, bright and ventilated classrooms for the comfortable studies. Library has wide collection of National and international text books, reference materials, journals and magazines which are highly essential for the in-depth knowledge and learning. Separate hostels for boys and girls are available. The hostel rooms are fully furnished with attached toilet and bath room. The rooms are ventilated and three students are accommodated in each room. The common facilities like mess, kitchen, dining hall, halls for recreation, study room and room for visitors are also available in hostel.
