The institution is located in Barton Hill, which is two kilometres from the Trivandrum city. The college is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and recognized by All India Council for Technical education. The college has 4 year B Tech engineering course having five major departments namely Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The college has excellent infrastructure facilities for its students. The classrooms are well furnished and equipped. Modernized laboratories provide better education to all students. A good spacious library having wide collection of textbooks, atlas, newspapers, magazines etc and also has national and international magazines and journals.
The college has three buses to cater to the needs of students coming from different parts of Thiruvananthapuram city. The college has separate hostel facilities and filled with 53 rooms which can accommodate 216 students including both M. Tech & B. Tech students. It provides safety and security to the students with spacious rooms, proper lighting facilities, study tables and required amenities. Various festivals such as Onam, Christmas, Vishu, and other occasions such as new year, farewells are celebrated in hostel. The students get hygienic and nutritious food from spic and span mess.
