Government Erode Medical College & Hospital was established in the year 1992. The college is under the affiliation of the Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, State of Tamil Nadu, India, and is wholly administered by the Government of State of Tamil Nadu. The Institute is a Medical Teaching Institute Recognized by the Medical Council of India, New Delhi, India.
All classroom are equipped with modem teaching aids and provided with comfort and safe environment for learning. The College has a vast library with wide collection of books, Journals, magazines, national and international reference materials etc. The Students get proper clinical training and practical in various hospitals.
