Government Medical College Villupuram was established in the year 2010. The annual intake of 100 students for MBBS degree course at this college and bed strength – 611 in Villupuram Medical College & Hospital. The college is under the affiliation of The TN Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, State of Tamil Nadu, India, and is wholly administered by the Government of State of Tamil Nadu. The Institute is a Medical Teaching Institute Recognized by the Medical Council of India, New Delhi, India.
