The College was started in 1992 with the permission of Dental Council of India (DCI). Under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India (GOI) for BDS course and with the affiliation with the state owned the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
The dental College has provided all facilities for the students to study in a comfortable environment and for their overall growth. The college complex has attached Medical College and hospital for basic science study and Medical exposure. The college has a well-equipped library, which houses almost all major book and journals pertaining to dentistry. The college provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Both are constructed with modern amenities and has adequate capacity for lodging the students. The College has an auditorium, which can seat around 1000 people. The college hostel facility is equipped with an air-conditioned gymnasium with state-of-the-art equipment. The entire campus including the hostels is Wi-Fi enabled and students can access the internet on their laptops round the clock. The college has a full fledged transport service which provides transport for the students and staff at a 50 km radius.
