The school of pharmacy was established in 1973 with two year Diploma course in pharmacy. It h-khas been upgraded to college of pharmacy in the year 1983 offering a four year degree course in pharmacy leading to B.Pharm and also started a post-graduate course in pharmacy leading to M.Pharm in 1995. HKES's Matoshree Taradevi Rampure Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is located in the M.R. Medical College campus. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, Bangalore and approved by AICTE and Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. The college B. Pharm course with an annual intake of 100 seats. For admission, candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually.
