Indira Education Trust (R) was established on 20th May 2003. Indira College of Allied Health Sciences a famous institution in Mangalore. The office is located at Indira Hospital Annexe, Mother Therassa Road, Falnir, Mangalore. Indira College of Physiotherapy Mangalore is affiliated by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS) Bangalore. Indira College of Physiotherapy Mangalore is approved by Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), All India Council for Physical therapy (AICP).The college aims to provide education at affordable cost, provide medical relief , conduct Research, organize lectures, conferences and exhibitions. BPT has an annual intake of 40 seats and it is a programme of 4 year with 6 moths internship.
Well ventilated and spacious classroom with 60 seating capacity. Spacious modern library has seating capacity of 150 student with all the amenities. Library is well stocked books by Indian & Foreign authors, Indian & Foreign Journals, Magazines, Newspapers etc. Library is managed by professionally qualified personnel. The college has its own Parent hospital a 200 bedded multi specialty hospital in the heart of the city of Mangalore where the clinical training will be provided to the students.
College has separate hostel facilities for girls and boys. Competent wardens are posted in each hostels. all students will be under the supervision and guidance of the warden. The resident wardens of hostels ensure the safety and security of the students. Hygienic and nutritious food is served to the students and maintains cleanliness.
