Jeppiaar Institute of Technology is a Christian Minority Institution established in the year 2011. The College is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE . the college offers five popular professional under-graduate engineering programs namely B.E. Computer Science and Engineering, B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering, B.Tech Information Technology, and B.E. Mechanical Engineering.

The classrooms are Computer-Aided Instruction (CAI) enabled with wall mounted Multimedia LCD Projectors, making complete use of the modern-day teaching aids. The library has a rich collection of around 12,000+ volumes of textbooks, reference books, national and international journals in all branches of Engineering, Science, Technology, Management and General Studies. The College boasts of sophisticated and world class Lab facilities that make the learning process thoroughly meaningful and productive for the student. The Institute has a well ventilated, pest free and magnificent mess with marble seating arrangements. The college provides excellent and separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The students are provided spacious rooms with attached bathroom facility. The college has a fleet of 19 buses to transport students and staff from various parts of the city.
