LBS Institute for Women is the only engineering college for women in the Government sector in the state of Kerala. The Institute offers 4 years B. Tech programs with the specializations of Electronics and Communication, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology & Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. For admission, the candidate must have passed 10+2 examination, Kerala, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry / Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology as one of the optional subjects with mentioned score.
The college has well furnished classrooms with comfortable seats. Experienced and dedicated faculties are conducting the classes. They are highly supportive and co-operative in classroom. College has a good spacious library having huge collection of books, reference materials, magazines, journals etc. They are highly beneficial for the Engineering studies. All laboratories are well equipped and using modern technologies and tools for better education. The college has hostel facility for women and serves high quality food in hostel. Staff maintain the hostel and its surrounding in neat and clean.
