Lourde Institute of Allied Health Science founded in 2011 is located at Pattuvam near Thaliparamba in Kannur district, 2 km away from Taliparamba town. And it is a division of Lourde Education Academy situated at Thaliparamba.Lourde Institute which is under the control of KANATE FOUNDATION, is a public Charitable Trust under the chairmanship of Dr. KJ Devasia. 

Lourde Institute of Allied Health Science is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, recognized by Government of Kerala. The Institution offers four and half years Bachelor of Physiotherapy program with an intake of 40 seats. The Course is designed to give the students a scientific understanding of the human body.  and to provide training in understanding the procedures for therapy and to develop skills. The subjects taught in the Course include  : Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Psychology, Medical and Surgical conditions, Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Disability prevention, Rehabilitation and other related subjects.  College has its own parent hospital and it is named Lourde Hospital.
