Mahendra College of allied Health science was established in the year 2021. The College offers 4 year B Sc Medical Laboratory Technology, B. Sc Accident & Emergency care Technology, B. Sc Operation Theatre & Anesthesia Technology, B.Sc. Radiography and Imaging Technology, B. Sc Cardiac Technology , B.Sc. Dialysis Technology , B. Sc Physician Assistant courses. The College is affiliated to DR MGR Medical University and approved by Government of Tamil Nadu.
B. Sc Accident & Emergency Care Technology programs should provide a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skills, preparing students to handle emergencies competently. Practical exposure to real-world emergency scenarios is essential, and the college should have the necessary facilities to facilitate this hands-on learning experience. BSc Radiography and Imaging Technology is a three-year undergraduate program focused on training professionals in medical imaging techniques and technologies. The curriculum includes courses in anatomy, radiographic positioning, radiographic physics, and various imaging modalities such as X-ray, CT scan, MRI, and ultrasound. B. Sc Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) is a three-year undergraduate program that focuses on training healthcare professionals responsible for conducting laboratory tests to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. The curriculum encompasses courses in clinical biochemistry, hematology, microbiology, pathology, and immunology. Students learn laboratory techniques, quality control, and diagnostic procedures.
