Founded by the esteemed BHARATHA KESARI PADMABHUSHAN MANNATHU PADMANABHAN under the auspices of NAIR SERVICE SOCIETY, this institution stands as one of the oldest Grant-in-aid Polytechnic Colleges. Its primary mission is to bring about commendable changes in the landscape of technical education.
Nestled on a serene hillock, enveloped by picturesque paddy fields, away from the hustle and bustle of urban life, the college is located in the Pandalam Thekkekara Grama Panchayath, approximately 7 kilometers from the quaint town of Pandalam.
Commencing its journey with three foundational engineering courses—Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical—in 1958, the college expanded its offerings in the academic year 2000-2001 by introducing two additional branches: Electronics & Communication and Computer Engineering. N. S. S. Polytechnic College has earned a distinguished reputation in the state, securing accolades and awards in both academic and extracurricular domains.
