Nanjappa Institute of Physiotherapy - Shimoga

Nanjappa Institute of Physiotherapy was established in the year 2019.The college is located in Shimoga. The Nanjappa Trust established the first multi-speciality and super-speciality hospitals in the Malnad region. Sri D.G. Nanjappa is the founder of the Nanjappa Trust. The 4 years undergraduate course (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)along with 6 months of internship, provides students with both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of physical movement tries to protecting humans from disease and disability. The college strive to improve the quality of healthcare education in India. In order to attain the goal, the college provide opportunities to students across the country to build healthcare education through different courses offered.

The institutions are equipped with well furnished and equipped infrastructure with modern facilities to assist teaching and research. The facilities such as good spacious libraries, modern laboratories, sports, enhance the quality of Physiotherapy education. The college has a hostel that boasts a total of 70 rooms, with 22 rooms on each floor. All rooms are well-furnished, with purified water and other essential amenities. Nanjappa Institute of Allied Health Sciences offers good additional infrastructure like Auditorium, Boys Hostel, Cafeteria, Girls Hostel, Gym, Hospital / Medical Facilities, Labs, Library, Sports Complex, Wi-Fi Campus to students.
