The Narayana Hrudayalaya Institute of Physiotherapy was established in the year 2000. The college is a private college which is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences(RGUHS) And approved by Indian Association of physiotherapists. Narayana Hrudayalaya Institute of Physiotherapy is managed by Narayana Hrudayalaya Foundation. Narayana Health was founded by Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty famous entrepreneur and cardiac surgeon with around 34 years of experience. The College has Bachelor of Physiotherapy and Master of Physiotherapy programme. BPT is a 4 year programme with 6 months internship and MPT is a 2 year programme with specialization of Musculo Skeletal Sciences.
Physiotherapy, or physical therapy, is a health care profession related with the assessment, maintenance, and diagnose the physical function and performance of the body. The person who trained to assess and treat a variety of conditions that affect the physical movements of adults and children and adolescents are pediatric Physiotherapists. Physiotherapy can be useful in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of injuries, disease processes, and other conditions and helpful for prevention of such diseases and treat injuries.

College has subscription for different journals and magazines which can be used as material for reference. Narayana Hrudayalaya Institute has modern and well equipped classrooms and laboratories for students.
