Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) is an autonomous body of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India. The college is situated at Kattangal in Kozhikode district. The college has several UG programmes such as Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Technology, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Electronics and Communication Engineering, Engineering Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering. NIELIT college also offers advanced technology training in AI, Cloud computing, information security, Embedded systems, IoT, Industrial Automation, VLSI design and 3D printing & Additive Manufacturing in online, blended and classroom modes delivered with the help of modern ICT tools.
The college has excellent infrastructure facilities. Faculties are well qualified and experienced. Supportive and caring teachers conducting the classes. The college has a library having huge stock of reference materials, books, national and international magazines. Separate hostels for boys and girls are available. The Hostels shall be under the control of hostel warden and has a deputy hostel warden and resident wardens for both hostels who will assist the hostel Warden. Students get good food in hostel mess.
