Padmashree Institute of Physiotherapy was established in the year1996 which is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, approved by the Government of Karnataka, and Recognized by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists.

The College is located at Nagarbhavi in Bangalore. It is well recognized for providing quality education by well qualified and experienced faculties. The institute has many highly dedicated and experienced staff to provide theory and practical training to the students in all subjects. The college has BPT and MPT programmes. BPT is a 4 year programme with 6 months compulsory internship.
Physiotherapy includes the physical, psycho, social, sensory, and other aspects of performance in a variety of environment to affects the functions in everyday life activities that affect health, well being, and quality of life. The college has good spacious library. The libraries are located in the college with a collection over 10,000 books. The students have access to library from morning to evening. There is number of buses which provide services to students and faculties. Bus facilities are provided to students to visit the clinical /hospitals for training and also for industrial visits.
Padmashree Group of Institutions has hostel facilities which has over 2000 students. Separate hostels for boys & girls within the campus. Each hostel has a separate dining room which provides nutritious and tasty food and they keep it in neat and clean.
