Rathinavel Subramaniam Educational Trust (RVSET) was established in 1983 as a public charitable Trust, in memory of Master Rathnavel Subramaniam the elder son of the chairman with an objectives to create facilities for education, health care and encouragement of the poor.

RVS College of Physiotherapy was established in the year 1993 as a branch of R.V.S Educational Trust under the guidance and leadership of the Founder and Chairman Lion. Vijayashree Dr. K. V. Kupusamy. The college offers 4 years Bachelor of Physiotherapy programme with 6 months compulsory internship. BPT programme has an annual intake of 50 seats.
All classrooms are well-furnished with all the latest equipments such as-HD Projectors, Internet, Wi-Fi, Audio-Visual systems intact. The college have a library consists national and International books, magazines and Journals. In classroom, each Student is provided with a cot, a table and a chair for their better studies. Reading room displays news papers, periodicals and popular magazines.24 hours standby generator facility is available for uninterrupted studies. Wifi is available within the campus for the students. RVS Group of Institutions equipped with 100 number of buses carrying 3000 Students daily.
College has equipped with boys and girls hostels with healthy and hygienic food. In addition to this, for worshiping and relaxation, RVS group has built 3 temples where the students can visit at their convenient time.
