The foundation of Seshasayee Institute of Technology was laid with the financial support presented to Thiru. V. Seshasayee by his friends and well-wishers on the occasion of his 61st birthday. Formally declared open on 28th January 1952, the institute commenced its journey by conducting A.M.I.E classes. This humble beginning provided an invaluable opportunity for numerous Arts and Science Graduates to transition into the field of engineering, marking a significant contribution to the development of skilled professionals.
