The college was established in the year 1996-97 with intake capacity of 25 students.
The college was established in the year 1996-97 with intake capacity of 25 students. Subsequently the intake strength has been increased to 100 seats in BAMS course from 2019-20 and the College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and permitted by Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi, and Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.
The College is well equipped with sufficient number of fully furnished teaching class rooms for students of UG & PG, department rooms for faculty and administrative rooms for administration staff. A well-established library containing more than 12000 books on different subjects. A 150 bedded Ayurvedic Hospital with all types of facilities and special emphasis on Ksharasootra and Panchakarma therapy is available. The College is conducting guest lectures, CMEs for updating the knowledge of students and Teachers. Teachers of the college are sent to various State Level, National Level, and International Seminars, Workshops etc, across the country for updating the teaching skills. Separate hostel facilities are available for boys and girls in college campus. Each room is provided with wardrobes, cots, book shelves, study table with sitting chairs, fans and bath rooms.
