Sri Sairam Ayurveda Medical College and Research Centre, Chennai was established in the year of 2001 by Late Thiru. MJF. Ln. Leo Muthu, Founder Chairman of Sapthagiri Educational Trust. The College has well furnished LCD classrooms with provision for projectors provide visual knowledge to students. The Central library containing books of various genres runs on all days providing both reading and lending facility. BAMS programs include practical training in Ayurvedic diagnosis and treatment methods. The Clinical rotations in hospitals or Ayurvedic clinics provide hands-on experience. The curriculum covers fundamental principles of Ayurveda, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, surgery, and clinical training in various specialties like Kayachikitsa (Internal Medicine), Shalya Tantra (Surgery), Shalakya Tantra (ENT and Ophthalmology), etc. The campus is provided with separate hostel facility for girls and boys with all basic necessities.
