SJCET Palai is a constituent college of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and recognized by A. P. J Abdul Kalam Technological University. The college has 4 year B. Tech programme having various specializations namely, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
College has excellent infrastructure facilities. Experienced and dedicated faculties are conducting the classes, they are highly supportive and co-operative. The college has a good spacious library. Library members are allowed to access all materials (such as Books, Journals, Magazines, Digital materials and E-Journals etc.) The library reading space can accommodate more than 200 students. All laboratories are well equipped and using advanced technologies for imparting excellence in studies. Separate hostel facilities are available for boys and girls which ensures safety and security among the students. Students get nutritious and healthy food in spic and span hostel mess.
