Due to his aspiration to provide quality education and encouragement, the college has grown up in all academic fronts and is recognized as one of the best pharmacy colleges in the state of Tamilnadu, India. St. Mariam College of Pharmacy is housed in an imposing building located in a lush green, eco friendly, calm and serene atmosphere with salubrious climate on tenkashi – tirunelveli main road and close to Tirunelveli district. The college is recognized by Government of Tamilnadu, approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The central Library has collections of books, national and international journals, internet facilities, audiovisual aids , CD ,and media related to research in our primary subject specialties, including pharmacy practice, pharmacology, pharmaceutical analysis, medicinal chemistry, pharmacognosy, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical sciences. Apart from the central library, department libraries are also available with minimum books related to respective field of specialization. More than 10,000 books (2050 titles) relevant to the teaching, learning, training and practical needs of the Institute are housed in a well-equipped Institutional Library. St. Mariam College of Pharmacy provide very good hostel facilities for students away from home for their education. St. Mariam provides hostel which has a good infrastructure for both boys and girls students to stay comfortably.
