Sun College of Pharmacy & Research Centre established under R.V Educational Trust. The trust was established in the year 1998 under the Chairmanship of Er. C. Thayaparan. The college has been approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai (TNMGRMU). D. Pharm course has the approval of Directorate of Medical Education (DME) and Government of Tamil Nadu. The courses offered by the college is B. Pharm with annual intake of 100 seats and D. Pharm with annual intake of 60 seats.
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) is an undergraduate degree course in the field of Pharmacy. The B.Pharm is one of the popular job oriented course among the science students after class 12th. In this course the students study about the drugs and medicines, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Medicinal Chemistry etc. This course provides a large no. of job opportunities in both the public and private sector.

Great care has been taken even in the minutes of details keeping in mind to nurture and develop the students to become real and competent professionals in the field. The faculties with their rich academic and professional experience form the backbone of the activities. The Library at sun College of Education is located in the campus itself. The library has a collection of more than 3000 books in addition to monthly and quarterly magazines with international and national journals. Students are provided with many facilities to update their knowledge. Excellent hostel facilities are available for the students inside the college campus. Sun College of Pharmacy has separate hostels for both boys and girls. Students are monitored round the staff team. The hostels have their mess to provide good hygienic food.
