The college is affiliated to the NTR University of Health Sciences (A P), Vijayawada and is also approved by the (IAP) Indian Association of Physiotherapy. The college offers 4 year Bachelor of physiotherapy with 6 months compulsory internship. For admission, the candidates seeking admission into Bachelor of Physiotherapy Course should have passed 2 years Intermediate Examination (10 + 2 ) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which shall include a practical test in each subject. BPT programme includes diagnose various ailments and make necessary treatments for it. The college has well furnished and equipped class rooms with comfortable sitting. Good spacious library has wide range of textbooks, journals, magazines etc.. which are helpful for the physiotherapy education. The library contain different textbooks of national and international authors. Swatantra Institute has dedicated and experienced faculties for providing better physiotherapy education.
The college has hostel facilities for boys that provide a homely atmosphere. Hostel warden has the control over the students residing in hostel. The college provides good and delicious food to all students and maintain the kitchen and dining room in neat and tidy manner.
