The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is a comprehensive undergraduate program that integrates traditional Ayurvedic principles with modern medical knowledge. The curriculum typically spans a duration of five and a half years, including a one-year internship. Students undergo a rigorous study of foundational subjects such as anatomy, physiology, and pathology, alongside specialized courses in Ayurvedic principles, herbology, and traditional diagnostic and therapeutic methods.
