The college is under the affiliation of the TN Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, State of Tamil Nadu, India, and is wholly administered by the Government of State of Tamil Nadu. The Institute is recognized by the Medical Council of India, New Delhi, India.
The Library has a large collection of books by Indian and foreign authors. The Group has a very well equipped, spacious library with internet facility. It has adequate number of Books, journals, Periodicals and CDs to help the students and faculty to update their knowledge. The Institute has a very well equipped computer Lab having 20 branded computers with internet facility. The Institute has various types of Labs. There are very well equipped Labs like, Fundamental Lab, Community Lab, OBG Lab, A.V Aids Lab, Science Lab, CHN Lab etc. The hostel accommodation has been provided within the premises of the college. The students are provided spacious well ventilated rooms with rooms with required furniture and individual cupboard. The Institute provides adequate transport facilities for students during the hospital and community trainings. Besides academics, the facilities for indoor and outdoor games are also provided.
