The institution marked its Silver Jubilee in 1986, with the honorable presence of His Excellency Sri. R. Venkataraman, the Vice-President of India at that time. In 2009, the college celebrated its Golden Jubilee, commemorating 50 years of commendable service to education. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of His Excellency Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the former President of India, who served as the Chief Guest, highlighting the institution's significant contribution to technical education in the region.
