College of Pharmacy was started in the year 1987 with a vision to promote excellence in the profession of pharmacy in the name of their beloved leader as a token of respect to late Sr. Dr. H.L. Thimmegowda, Ex-Minister of Health and family welfare, Govt. of Karnataka.

Thimmegowda, Ex-Minister of Health and family welfare, Govt. of Karnataka. The institution is imparting D. Pharm B. Pharm, M. Pharm programmes successfully. All these Programmes are approved by PCI NewDelhi (Pharmacy Council of India), AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) New Delhi, RGUHS (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences) Bangalore. Dr. H.L. Thimmegowda College of Pharmacy aims to deliver pharmacy programme beyond the limits of academic curriculum by providing all-round education to the future pharmacists to meet the global challenges. The Objective of the trust is to provide the best infrastructure facilities.
The Management of the Thimmegowda College of Pharmacy has provided separate building for pharmacy with well-equipped laboratories, machine room, Library and museum as per the norms of Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). The Library well quipped with sufficient volumes of books, periodicals and journals, networked computer with Internet facility and CD-bank. Hostel facility for Boys is provided in the Campus. Mess with both South & North Indian food is attached to the hostel. Double and triple bedded accommodation is available to the students. Well equipped gym, indoor and out-door game facilities are provided to the students.
