V.S.B. Educational Trust was founded in the year 2000 by Mr. V.S. Balsamy, the founder and correspondent of the V.S.B. Engineering College. Under the Trust, V.S.B. Engineering College was established in the year 2002 and V.S.B College of Engineering Technical Campus in the year 2012.

V S B Engineering College, Karur offers courses affiliated to Anna University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education.
The College has furnished, ventilated and spacious classrooms. Well qualified teaching faculties for conducting the classes. All class rooms are with hi-tech equipments that enables faculty to facilitate their teaching–learning process. College has a spacious library consist of wide range of reference materials and other resources which are highly useful for the students as well as faculties. The College has well equipped and modernized laboratories for the students for imparting excellent engineering education. The College has separate hostel facility with hygienic food for boys and girls. Hostel warden has the responsibility over the students and maintain the hostel as per the rules and regulations given by the management.
