Vivekananda College of Pharmacy is affiliated to the Board of examining authority, Karnataka, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India. VCP is recognized for its commitment for providing quality pharmacy education which also inculcates a sense of social responsibility in its students.

The college is equipped with all modern instruments and equipment. Vivekananda College of Pharmacy has separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls in spacious and has well-appointed rooms. Rooms are equipped with a table, chair, cupboard, cot and mattress. CCTV cameras are arranged for ensuring safety and security of the students. Hostel has 24-hour water supply and hot water through the solar heating facility.
