Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College & Hospital was established in the year 1986. The college is approved by Government of Karnataka and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi university of Health sciences.
The college has a well-equipped library, which houses almost all major book and journals pertaining to dentistry. The college provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. Both are constructed with modern amenities and has adequate capacity for lodging the students. The College has an auditorium, which can seat around 1000 people. The college hostel facility is equipped with an air-conditioned gymnasium with state-of-the-art equipment. The entire campus including the hostels is Wi-Fi enabled and students can access the internet on their laptops round the clock. The college has a full fledged transport service which provides transport for the students and staff at a 50 km radius.
