The roots of our educational journey trace back to 1977 when the Younus group, primarily engaged in the cashew business, ventured into education with the establishment of a Teachers Training Centre (TTC). This marked the inception of our commitment to providing quality education for societal betterment. In 1979, our first B.ed College came into existence, solidifying our dedication to educational advancements.
The Fathima Memorial Educational Trust, founded in 1991 by Dr. A Younus Kunju, pays tribute to his mother's legacy. Mrs. Dhareefa Beevi, his wife, serves as the Chairperson of the trust, and their children are esteemed members. All existing institutions were subsequently brought under the trust's umbrella, consolidating our efforts for educational upliftment. The trust continues to expand its impact, with various institutions flourishing under its guidance.
